Bring a lunch and join us for stories at the Telford Park Pavilion.

Make and Take Projects (Drop in): Starts Monday

Looking for something to do this week?  Drop in anytime this week to pick up a Make and Take Kit.  Make an awesome instrument.  All supplies and directions included.

Due to Science in the Summer, our programs are limited this week.  Don’t forget to stop by the library and participate in one of our passive programs.  And you can always come in to collect prizes and say “Hi!”.

Workshop is Full

singOur instrument making workshop, scheduled for tonight at 6 PM, is now full.  Interested families may still attend our family concert at 7 PM.  No registration required.

Summer Programs: July 9-13

two of a kindBabies Boogie (Ages Birth-24 months): Monday @ 10 am

20 minutes of stories and songs for our youngest friends.

Maker Mondays Building Club (All ages):

Monday at 2 PM

Come build with Legos, K’Nex, Magna Tiles and other materials.  Complete our challenge or build your own idea.

The Science of Sound (Grades K-6): Tuesday at 2 PM

A traveling scientist from the Franklin Institute will be here to teach us about the science behind our favorite music.  Please note: this program is most appropriate for children in elementary school.

Play with Sounds (PreK/K): Wednesday @ 10 am

Join us for some fun experiments with sounds followed by an instrument making workshop.  Bring your instrument Wednesday night to our family concert.

Libraries Rock with Two of a Kind (All ages):

Thursday at 7 PM

Come rock with special guests Two of a Kind.  School aged children are welcome to join us at 6 PM to make a musical instrument out of recycled materials.  Space is limited for the workshop and registration is required.  To register, email youthservices@ivpl.org.
